City man charged with DWI after cops say he hit parked Derryfield School bus

Mar. 12—A city man is charged with drunken driving after police say he crashed an SUV into an empty parked school bus in Manchester's North End late Monday night.

Just after 10 p.m., Manchester police responded to the area of Union Street and River Road for reports of a motor vehicle crash in the Derryfield School parking lot.

According to police, a white Infiniti SUV driven by Michael Carrow, 24, of Manchester, crashed into a parked and unoccupied Derryfield School bus, causing significant damage.

Carrow sustained minor injuries as a result of the crash, police said. No other individuals were involved in the incident.

Carrow was arrested on charges of aggravated driving while intoxicated, criminal mischief, and reckless conduct, police said.

The crash is under investigation by the Manchester Police Department Traffic Unit.
