City of Goodlettsville releases proposed RiverGate Mall concept images

GOODLETTSVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – For better or for worse, RiverGate Mall is a iconic landmark in Goodlettsville. The mall has stood tall since 1978, and after a downfall of loosing stores and revenue, a new proposed project has arrived.

The proposal will demolish the old Macy’s building and create hundreds of residential units, a hotel, green space, and much more. Concept images of it’s design were released for the upcoming planning commission meeting. To view more images, click here.

On Monday, the City of Goodlettsville Planning Commission will vote to approve rezoning of the land for the proposed project to happen. Then in June and July, city commissioners will put the final stamp to approve the project.

This project will only impact the old Macy’s building area. The rest of the mall will remain intact.
