City begins Riverfront Trail maintenance

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KREX) — The City of Grand Junction will start maintenance on a section of the Riverfront Trail on Tuesday.

A single yellow centerline will be added to the section of the trail running from Las Colonias Boat Ramp to Riverside Park. Officials say the trail has seen an increase in use and the improvement will help make the trail safer.

The maintenance is scheduled to start Tuesday and will continue through the end of the week. Though minimal detours are expected, those using the trail are asked to exercise caution around the areas undergoing maintenance.
