Another round of spring showers are expected to move through Greater Cincinnati this week.

According to the National Weather Service office in Wilmington, dry weather is forecast for Monday. However, there will be a low chance of showers and thunderstorms in far southwest counties later in the afternoon.

Winds from the south gusting to 20 mph in the afternoon will boost temperatures into the upper 70s to low 80s, which is 5 to 7 degrees above normal.

Showers and a few thunderstorms will begin to impact the area Monday night and become widespread Tuesday afternoon. Locally heavy downpours may occur through Tuesday night, per a hazardous weather outlook.

Highs on Tuesday will be in the low to mid-70s.

The coverage and intensity of showers and thunderstorms will likely decrease heading into Wednesday. More showers and thunderstorms will return Thursday night through Friday night. Temperatures on Wednesday will be near normal. Then, the rest of the week will experience slightly above-normal readings, with the warmest days being over the weekend.
