DOVER — The Children’s Museum of New Hampshire is offering a unique, grown-up-only, fundraising event this spring. Tickets are on sale now for “Cider Flights & Tasty Bites” happening Saturday, March 23 from 7-9 p.m. (6:30 p.m. entry for VIP ticket holders) which is a special collaboration with North Country Hard Cider Company. The event, hosted at the Children’s Museum amongst its two floors of hands-on, interactive exhibits, will feature tasty four-ounce locally crafted cider pours from North Country Hard Cider paired with tasty bites from local restaurants. A portion of each ticket sold will benefit The Children’s Museum of New Hampshire’s exhibits and programs. Commerce and Industry on the Great Bay

STRATHAM — On Monday, March 11, at 7 p.m., in the Morgera Community Room, Stratham Fire Department, the Stratham Historical Society and Wiggin Memorial Library will jointly offer a program, “Commerce and Industry on the Great Bay: 1600s through Early 20th Century”.  Free and open to the public.

Seabreeze Quit Guild event

EXETER — Seabreeze Quit Guild will meet Tuesday, March 12, at 6:30 p.m. in the Senior Center, Court St., Exeter. Doors will be open a little early for our UFO (unfinished Objects) sale. Many bargains will be available – patterns, fabric, quilting items and almost done quilt tops. Members are reminded to bring in bundled items to be purchased by those attending. Left over items not purchased will be taken by the comfort quilt committee.

Portsmouth Democratic Roundtable

PORTSMOUTH — The next monthly Portsmouth Democratic Roundtable will be on March 12, from 6:30-8 p.m. at a local restaurant in Portsmouth. DOVER — On Thursday, March 14 at 5:30 p.m. teens in grades 6-12 are invited to celebrate Pi Day with us by crafting mini pies using bottle caps. All supplies will be provided, and no registration is required.

Seed Swap

DOVER — On Saturday, March 16 at 2 p.m. get your garden started early by starting some seeds indoors this year. Piscataqua Seed Project and Seacoast NH Permaculture are holding a seed swap at the library. PSP will have free seeds available, and attendees are encouraged to bring seeds saved from their own garden or unused seeds they have purchased.
