Chuck E. Cheese holding book signing and launch party for new cookbook in Santee

SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — A book signing and giveaway is taking place Tuesday in East County for Chuck E. Cheese’s newest venture — a cookbook. But that’s not all. The family entertainment center is giving a free cookbook to the first few dozen families at the book signing.

Chuck E. Cheese in Santee opened in Sept. 2023, and will play host to the launch of the Chuck E. Cheese and Friends Party Cookbook.

The book signing and launch party is taking place Tuesday from 3 to 5 p.m. at the Santee location at 265 Town Center Pkwy.

The 128-page, all-ages cookbook has dozens of recipes like pizzas, milkshakes, Southern food, Spanish food, breakfast and dessert, and features all of Chuck E. Cheese’s characters and themed recipes like “tasty Vamples,” “Mummy Dogs,” “French toast dippers,” “Bella’s favorite quesadilla pizza,” and more. The recipes are accompanied by games, jokes, and QR codes which link to video dance parties, among other party activities.

Tuesday’s book signing event will have special appearances from Chuck E. Cheese and friends.

The Chuck E. Cheese and Friends Party Cookbook, released Tuesday, goes for $22.99. It is available to order through Amazon, Target, Walmart, or through Chuck E. Cheese’s Chuck E. Shop.
