Right off the bat, the latest Loubichrome nail polish is complete works of art. The luxury fashion company has never failed us when it comes to the packaging of their cosmetic products (do the lipsticks even need an introduction?), and beauty for our tips ain’t no different.

With their signature spike applicator (modelled after the highest heel he’s ever made), the Christian Louboutin Loubichrome nail polish comes in a muted holographic, oil-spill-esque finish. It may seem a tad bit excessive, but hey — you have to admit that the overall product does look like an opalescent rainbow unicorn horn, and we’re definitely not complaining.

Now, the collection introduces three different metallic shades. Loubichrome I is a cheery lemon-yellow with the slightest hint of green. Loubichrome II however, boasts a warm coppery pink-based red with a pearlescent touch, and Loubichrome III is an unabashed shade of luxury plum-purple, complete with a metallic sheen. Very much like regular lacquers, these polishes go opaque after two coats.

They retail at US$30 a pop, and are finally (!!!) back in stock! Just an FYI, these gorgeous luxury polishes dropped early this month and were all snagged up almost instantly.
