Chrissy Metz and Alison Brie are all good after Golden Globes 'hot mic' controversy
Chrissy Metz said WHAT at the Golden Globes Sunday?
According to the "This Is Us" star, nothing bad.
After the Twitterverse started buzzing about hearing Metz on a hot mic say what seemed to be some not-so-nice things about "GLOW" star Alison Brie, the actress denied the claims.
Page Six and Us Weekly published stories about the viral clip.
"It’s terribly unfortunate anyone would think much less run a story that was completely fabricated!" Metz tweeted. "I adore Alison and would never say a bad word about her, or anyone! I sure hope she knows my heart."
In a statement to USA TODAY, Metz's rep Cheryl McLean echoed the actress' comment.
"Chrissy has nothing but admiration and respect for Alison and, frankly, every fellow actor who must wade through this much-too-common attempt to create a feud among colleagues," the statement read. "This 'story' is a complete fabrication and deserves no further momentum."

Metz also spoke to People about the incident during the award show.
“I’m so distraught and upset,” she said. “I don’t speak about anyone like that, I don’t speak like that. I love Alison, I follow her. … When I was walking up they said, ‘Do you know Alison,’ and I said, ‘Oh boy, do I.’ I love her.”
In a statement to Vanity Fair about the reports, Brie said, "But why? I know her. I saw her on the carpet and I told her how beautiful she looked.”
Brie also took to her Instagram to dispel any bad blood between her and Metz.
"Nothing but love for @chrissymetz!!" she posted on her IG Stories along with a photo of the two actresses. "Rumors can't keep us down!"
Fans rallied behind Metz, saying they didn't hear her say anything bad either.
"OMG! How can anyone make such an accusation," one Twitter user said. "I don’t know u but u seem so kind and genuine in ur interviews and ur roles,"
