Chris Pine and Jake Gyllenhaal are reportedly getting ready to belt it out on the big screen!
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the leading men are in talks to star in the big screen version of the musical "Into the Woods."
Pine and Gyllenhaal have reportedly already showed off their vocal abilities for director Rob Marshal in what would be their first big screen singing roles.
"Into the Woods" is a dark and comedic story about a baker and his wife who set out to reverse a spell cast on them by a witch. On their journey they encounter numerous fairytale characters including Cinderella, Jack from "Jack and the Beanstalk," Little Red Ridinghood, Rapunzel, Sleeping Beauty, Snow White and many more.
Streep has signed on to play the Witch, first played by Bernadette Peters in the original Broadway production, and Depp will play the sexually charged Wolf.
Pine and Gyllenhaal are reportedly being eyed for the roles of Cinderella's Prince and Rapunzel's Prince, both of whom are dashing, arrogant and narcissistic.
"Into the Woods" is potentially slated to begin filming in the fall.
