Chris Latimer is running for Rogers mayor

ROGERS, Ark. (KNWA/KFTA) — On May 4, the District 4 Justice of Peace for Benton County announced his official campaign for Mayor of Rogers.

Chris Latimer is the first person to announce a mayoral campaign in Rogers.

He is focused on three things for the city: work, protect and build, according to his website. He claims that he will make City Hall more transparent, build more housing and infrastructure, bring more entrepreneurs and businesses with “less red tape and delays.”

He also claims that crime is on the rise and “the increase in violent crime is particularly concerning.”

FBI data shows that from 2012 to 2022 Rogers has had an increase of 40% in violent crimes, from 203 to 285.
