Chris Broussard Says Tristan Thompson Signs With Cavs, Local Reporter Disagrees

Local reporter probably right.

Chris Broussard must've felt he had a damn big scoop because he went with ALL-CAPS to let his 1.05+ million followers know the Cavs had finally agreed to a deal with Tristan Thompson:

It seemed a bit odd that Thompson and the Cavs would come to terms on that particular deal, since Thompson initially balked at a five-year/$80 million offer when the offseason began. A local reporter disagreed with Broussard's announcement. Who is right? It's up to you Probably the local reporter. Akron Beacon Journal Cavs beat writer Jason Lloyd killed the buzz of any Cleveland fan dying to retain a guy who can pull down an offensive rebound with the best of them. Less than 15 minutes after Broussard's tweet, Lloyd threw water on it:

Afterward Broussard somewhat (see: not really) admitted he was wrong

Let the drama over this guys contract situation continue. It's not like training camp is right around the corner or anything.
