CHP: Man from Dinuba dead after lane-splitting motorcycle crash

DINUBA, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – A 48-year-old man has died following a crash near Dinuba early Thursday morning, according to the CHP.

Officers say the crash happened around 5 a.m. near Avenue 416 and Road 42, west of Dinuba.

The 48-year-old man from Dinuba was on a motorcycle and seen splitting lanes when he hit a car, lost control and crashed into a power pole, according to the CHP.

First responders attempted life-saving measures, but the man died a short time later.

The crash remains under investigation.
