CHP investigate big rig crash on Copus Road

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — The California Highway Patrol have launched an investigation after a big rig crash south of Bakersfield.

The crash happened Wednesday morning around 9 a.m. when CHP received reports of of a big rig rolled over on Copus Road just west of Highway 99.

The crash site blocked eastbound lanes and partially into the westbound lanes, but the driver was able to get out of the wreckage.

The trailer was loaded with powered cement, leading to a heavy and messy cleanup.
