Chip Gaines' Birthday Message To Joanna Will Make You Bawl
You don't have to be a fan of home design shows to enjoy Fixer Upper. It's almost more of a rom-com: the adventures of an impossibly matched floppy-haired, goofball and ever-trendy country girl who bring a tiny Texas town out of its rut. It makes sense then that people are as attached to the Chip and Joanna Gaines' love story as they are to their house flipping skills. And even though we'll have to wait months until we get new footage of Chip's puppy dog gaze and adorable compliments (season four ended in March, but reruns are well and alive), he found a way to shout his love for Jo off the small screen.
The design star's birthday is today, and Chip penned the sweetest message to her on Instagram: "Jo, you are the best at everything you do. Watching you do your thing is one of my greatest joys. You are fascinating in every way, and like the rest of the world…I can't wait to see what's next. Happy birthday, young lady! –me." The two have a history of writing love notes to each other on their social media pages, but this might be the best one yet. Now as long as Chip comes home with a cupcake from the Silos Baking Co., he'll keep his status as Husband of the Year.
