Chilly night ahead, big warm-up this week

(PINPOINT WEATHER) — What a fantastic end to the weekend! High pressure has taken control and is expected to stick around through most of the week. With the clear skies overhead tonight, we will see temperatures plummet into the upper 20s and lower 30s. A breezy WNW wind will cause it to feel much colder at times. High Wind Warning and Wind Advisory for the mountains until noon Monday. Freeze Warning for Lancaster County until 9 a.m. Monday.

Sunshine and spring-like temperatures are expected to dominate through Thursday, with highs gradually climbing into the 70s.

The first of two storm systems will push into the area late Friday, bringing a good amount of rain through Saturday morning. The second wave of wet weather is expected to slide through on Sunday. Behind the second storm, look for cooler air to move in, dropping highs back into the 60s by Sunday.

Tonight: Clear, cold, and breezy. Lo: 32

Monday: Sunny and nice. Hi: 61

Tuesday: Sunny and warm. Hi: 69 Lo: 35
