Child’s outcry of yearslong sexual assault leads to arrest of Texarkana man

TEXARKANA, Texas (KETK) – A child’s outcry lead to the arrest of a Texarkana man who allegedly sexually assaulted the child for years.

Smith County cold case victim identified, sheriff to hold briefing

According to the Texarkana PD, the child told their teacher about alleged years of sexual assault.

Police later arrested Alberto Cucul, 44, for aggravated sexual assault of a child following an investigation with Texarkana PD, Texarkana ISD Police and Child Protective Services.

Cucul was booked into the Bowie County Jail with a bond set at $100,000.
