Chickasha triple murder suspect denied bond, court date set

GRADY COUNTY, Okla. (KFOR) — Chickasha triple murder suspect Jacob Mayhugh was denied bond by a Grady County judge on Thursday, according to court documents.

20-year-old Mayhugh is facing three counts of first-degree murder for the shooting deaths of his parents and sister in their Chickasha home.

Court documents say Mayhugh confessed to the murders in an interview with OSBI agents following his arrest in Oklahoma City on Tuesday, May 14.

Mayhugh’s preliminary hearing is set for Wednesday, June 26.
