Chickasaw teen arrested in connection with motel armed robbery: Mobile Police

MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) — A 19-year-old was arrested Tuesday in connection with a March motel armed robbery, according to the Mobile Police Department.

Jiuver Alexander Pineda, of Chickasaw, was identified as one of the suspects and was arrested, an MPD release said.

According to previous reporting, officers were called to Scenic Motel on Moffett Road just after 3:30 a.m. on March 31 for a report of an armed robbery.

When they arrived, officers found that three people had robbed a person in one of the rooms.

Police said this is an ongoing investigation.
