Chick-fil-A Is Giving Customers The Most Ridiculous Diet Advice Ever

From Delish

Chick-fil-A makes one of the best chicken sandwiches we've ever had. And that Polynesian sauce? Sometimes we wish we could put it on everything. But even though we're advocates for indulging in fast-food once in a while, we can't condone eating it every day. And we definitely don't agree with chowing down on it multiple times in a single day.

The fried chicken chain might disagree with us on that one, however. Printed on one of the company's take-out bags is a little tidbit of health advice, suggesting to customers that they eat an 8-piece grilled chicken nugget meal every few hours.

Wait, what? Sure, smaller-portioned meals eaten numerous times each day has been proven to keep people healthy and even help those looking to lose weight. But tossing the restaurant's grilled nuggets into the mix-especially more than once-is probably not ideal. (Though the teacher who lost 60 pounds from only eating McDonald's might prove us wrong.) So here's a closer look at the grilled chicken nuggets' nutritional values:

The company is really championing the grilled nuggs as a healthy option, going so far as to pair them with Chick-fil-A's new kale salad in a "superfood side" promotion on its website:

In all reality, Chick-fil-A probably didn't intend to tell customers to eat its grilled chicken nuggets three or four times every single day. But it's still a supremely odd message nonetheless. Especially when it's printed on the side of your take-out bag that's more than likely stacked with fried chicken sandwiches, waffle fries, and extra sides of Polynesian sauce. No, just us? Yeah, we didn't think so.
