In response to the reporter’s announcement, Joe Johnson of Obvious Shirts, located at 3776 North Clark Street, has created two shirts to support Lowe amid his cancer battle.

“This was an easy decision for us.  We all know Mike is an exceptional reporter, but he is also an incredible person. He has been a big supporter of Obvious Shirts and we wanted to reciprocate our support by creating shirts for him and his fans to help Mike while he tackles this,” said Johnson. “Mike loves the Bears so the shirts are naturally blue and orange.”

According to Johnson, one shirt says “LOWE STRONG and the other says “CANCER SUCKS” with #LOWESTRONG underneath.

Johnson said 100% of the proceeds will be donated to Lowe.
