Chesapeake police respond to barricade situation at InTown Suites

CHESAPEAKE, Va. (WAVY) — Chesapeake police responded to a barricade situation at the InTown Suites on Old Greenbrier Road on Thursday, police said.

Officials said police are also investigating a death in the same area, but it was not related to the barricade. It was a medical call at the same hotel.

The barricade subject came out on his own around 3:50 p.m. The person who was arrested was wanted for probation violation.
