London, Mar 24 (ANI): Chelsea star John Terry's new 10 million-pound house has reportedly a striking resemblance to the White House in the US, according to pictures and neighbours' accounts.
The 1,70,000 pounds-a week Chelsea captain, who was given permission to demolish the house he had built for his mother-in-law Sue Poole next to the home he shares with his wife Toni and children, had build the lavish new pad in his back garden, the Daily Star reports.
The sprawling property, near Chelsea's training ground in Cobham, Surrey, is a nine-bedroom mansion having eight bathrooms, a pool, hot tub, steam room and a cinema.
The former England star's 'White House' will also have a separate wing for the household staff along with a huge lake, the report added.
Noting its resemblance to the White House in Washington DC, a local resident said that it is difficult to explain how big the house is unless one is near it, jokingly adding that lots of people have been musing whether John Terry is moving in the house or Obama. (ANI)
