Chelsea Handler Thinks She’s ‘Killing It’

Chelsea Handler is a highly successful comedian in Hollywood and has been for years, but Handler claims that she is only now happy with herself and feeling like she is “killing it.”

The comedian shared a photo on Instagram on Oct. 24 with the caption “My makeup tonight @monikablundermakeup sent me this picture of me tonight, and I have to say, I may for the very first time in my life, think I’m killing it. Please try before the age of 41, to look at yourself with love.”

The image shows Handler beaming at the camera, with clear skin (which she recently attributed to ProFractional Laser treatments) and a natural makeup look. It’s a great photo, but it was the caption that resonated with her fans, with one saying, “We all need to give ourselves pep talks.” Others chimed in with encouraging words, saying Handler has always been killing it.

A study reported by the Daily Mail in April 2016 shows that 64 percent of women claim that their most confident age — the one in which they began accepting themselves — was in their mid-30s, with the majority of women tending to feel sexiest at the age of 34.

Researchers weren’t sure of the exact reasoning behind the women’s confidence boost; however, some factors included switching to a healthier lifestyle as they got older, forming committed relationships and healthy friendships, and trying new styles and splurging on better quality clothing — all of which can help anyone feel better about themselves.
