Chelsea Handler leads star-studded Sundance Women’s March

Chelsea Handler led a star-studded march through the streets of Park City, Utah on Saturday in support of the Women’s March on Washington.

“This isn’t 1917; it’s 2017. We shouldn’t have to fight for progress we’ve already made, but we’re ready to,” Handler said during the rally, which took place right in the middle of this year’s Sundance Film Festvial. “It’s our duty to take care of the next generation and to ensure that our children have the same access to the essential services that we did… and this is coming from somebody who doesn’t have children. But, as a responsible citizen, I know that we have a duty to protect everyone else’s children.”

In addition to Handler, dozens of celebrities attended the march, including Charlize Theron, Aisha Tyler, Laura Dern, John Legend, Benjamin Bratt, and more.

“Everyone’s going to stand together, and we’re going to come together,” Handler in a pre-march video. “There’s a movement happening. Get with it!”
