Check Your Pantry: Over 30 Pretzel Products Recalled Nationwide Due to Salmonella Risk
The products were distributed nationwide at Walmart, HyVee, Target, and Dollar General.

More than 30 pretzel products have been recalled nationwide due to possible salmonella contamination, according to a recent report by the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
This recall is an expansion on a May 6 recall involving products from Palmer Candy Company, including yogurt-covered pretzels, caramel-swirl pretzels, white fudge cookies, and other snacks. The products come in a variety of retail packaging like bags, pouches, and tubs.

Per the FDA, the recalled confectionary items were distributed nationwide at Walmart, HyVee, Target, and Dollar General, as well as to distributors in Alabama, California, Florida, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota, Texas, Virginia, Wisconsin, and Wyoming.
To date, no illnesses have been reported in connection with this recall. Symptoms of salmonella infection typically begin within eight to 72 hours after exposure. People exposed to salmonella may experience stomach cramps, diarrhea, fever, nausea, vomiting, chills, and headache.
The FDA is urging consumers who have purchased any of the recalled items manufactured by Palmer Candy Company to return them to the place of purchase for a full refund.
