Chattahoochee Education Center’s 5 and 6 year old kids receive a lesson of meteorology 101

Cusseta, Ga. (WRBL)-This morning Kindergartners from Mrs. Dellasandro and Mrs. Withrow’s classes were weather prepared and excited to put their meteorology 101 to the test, with “The First Alert Weather Team’s,” Kaylee Barbee and Bob Jeswald.

Kaylee kicked off the job and education portion of what meteorologists do to prepare a daily forecast and discussed all hazards of weather.

These 5-and 6-year-old children asked great questions and were able to answer our questions, about preparing for severe weather.  For example, where do you go when there is a tornado? And so many more.

The one question that made Kaylee and I smile was when a student asked. “What makes the grass grow?”  “And the best question was how do hurricanes make tornadoes?”

A+ for our teachers, parents, and students from Chattahoochee Education Center.
