Charlotte Tilbury Is Launching a Fragrance — and Kate Moss Is the Face

Beauty guru Charlotte Tilbury, whose makeup and skincare essentials have been favorites with celebs for years, has branched out into the world of perfume for the first time and will launch fragrance Scent of a Dream under her eponymous label in August.

Just as she did with her beloved Magic Cream, Tilbury has been making this product on her own for years.

Tilbury explains, “I have been mixing my own secret scent for years and have been fascinated by the idea that one’s perfume can attract others and also change the energy frequency of the people and environment around you.”

But that’s not the only big beauty news here. The launch announcement comes with another reveal: Kate Moss will be the face of the perfume. “This is Kate as you’ve never seen her before: bewitching, beguiling, and entrancing,” Tilbury said.

The British supermodel was the obvious choice, according to the beauty guru. “I have known Kate for 25 years now and have had so many incredible experiences with her. … She gets me, and she gets the scent.” Tilbury said. “She instinctively knew how to convey on camera the way that this scent is a portal for love, light, power, positivity, and sex. She is the ultimate modern day icon, and I knew she would have the aura and the abandon that I needed to communicate the magic of Scent of a Dream!”

“Charlotte and I have always had this instant, naughty chemistry — we danced side by side together during the shoot,” said Moss, in a release. “Charlotte has this electric passion and energy for life — she’s a bit magical. It felt totally natural to do her first fragrance campaign together.”

You won’t have to wait long to try out the fragrance. Scent of a Dream launches on Aug. 15 on CharlotteTilbury.com, and will be available at Nordstrom, Bergdorf Goodman, Net-a-Porter, Beautylish, and Bloomingdale’s in September.
