Charles Barkley and Shaq Roasted the Clippers and Rockets for Their Crazy Post-Game Fight

This Los Angeles Clippers team is bizarre. They've been injury-plagued. A huge portion of their roster is filled with unknown rookies and guys who might as well be G-League players, and yet they are kind of...awesome? They're getting major productive minutes from guys like Jawun Evans and Tyrone Wallace, for God's sake. At times this season, it has seemed like they were destined to tank, and at other times they look like a legitimate playoff team. Last night was decidedly the latter. Blake Griffin and Lou Williams led the Clips to a giant win over the Houston Rockets, spoiling Chris Paul's return to Staples Center.

But the game was almost beside the point. In a turn that's somewhat surprising, considering how many former Clippers are on the Rockets and how many former Rockets are on the Clippers, it turns out these teams really hate each other. All game, Trevor Ariza and Chris Paul were getting into it with Blake Griffin. At one point, Blake Griffin purposefully ran into Rockets Coach Mike D'Antoni. The whole thing felt more like professional wrestling than basketball. And as with professional wrestling, it turned out there were some backstage shenanigans post-game.

If that seems bonkers to you, well you're not alone! Shaq and Charles Barkley felt it deserved a solid roasting, so that's exactly what they gave us. The magic starts at 2:35.

So, yes, we have some fun NBA beef. It's embarrassing and goofy, but it is definitely fun.
