When Chapel Hart members announced in November they were taking a break from the competitiveness of the Nashville music scene, they vowed they were not calling it quits.

Tuesday night, Danica Hart, her sister Devynn Hart and cousin Trea Swindle proved just how much music is in their blood when they performed a reprise of "American Pride," a Chapel Hart original, on "America's Got Talent: Fantasy League."

The first performance on "America's Got Talent" Season 17 finale didn't go so well, and the trio ended up falling short of the finish line. But judge Simon Cowell called the women to be on his team. He also wanted them to redo the song and perform it the way they should have the first time.

"We were so emotional then," Swindle said of making it to the finale.

Chapel Hart more than made up for the off-center performance when they blew the audience away with a much tighter and sharper performance of the song to crowd who jumped to their feet as the trio sang.

"This tonight was about redemption, and you know what? You absolutely nailed it," Cowell said.

The other judges agreed.

"The fact that you sang that song again and we are living in the times we are living in, I felt like that was an anthem," AGT Judge Howie Mandel said.

It was an emotional moment for Chapel Hart.

"I want to say thank you so much for seeing us and believing in us," Danica Hart said to the judges and the crowd.

The audience agreed with the judges and voted Chapel Hart through to the next round. The show will air again at 7 p.m. Monday on NBC-TV.
