Channing Tatum Tries (and Fails) to be Jean-Claude Van Damme

Channing Tatum may be Sexiest Man Alive emeritus, but he doesn't have what it takes to be Jean-Claude Van Damme when it comes to doing the splits. 

Sorry, what? Yes, Tatum—as a joke, obviously—attempted to parody Van Damme's "epic split," which he recently performed to advertise Volvo trucks. As you can see in the above video, it didn't turn out that well for Tatum, who was on the set of 22 Jump Street , and appeared as his character in that movie, Jenko. 

See, this is what happens when Van Damme did the splits: 

And this is what happened when Tatum did: 

Not quite the same effect. But at least they admitted they were doing it wrong. A card at the end of the Tatum video reads that the act was "carried out by unprofessionals in an open unsupervised area." Van Damme's split was a professional job. Duh.
