Champaign-Urbana MTD offering reduced service for Spring Break

CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (WCIA) — The Champaign-Urbana Mass Transit District is operating on a special schedule this week due to the University of Illinois’s Spring Break.

More bike lanes coming to Champaign

MTD’s summary of affected routes can be found below.

  • 1 Yellow Hopper: Does not operate.

  • 2 Red: Trips with “L” or “U” footnotes do not operate.

  • 12 Teal: Operating abbreviated frequencies during weekday daytime service.

  • 13/130 Silver: Operating abbreviated frequencies during weekday daytime service.

  • 13/130 Silver Limited: Operating abbreviated routing and frequencies during the weekday evenings and weekend service.

  • 22/220 Illini Limited: Operating abbreviated routing and frequencies during all day types.

  • 50 Green, 100 Yellow, 120 Teal, 130 Silver, 220 Illini: No Late Night service after midnight.

Additionally, all routes will not have Sunday Evening and Sunday Late Night service. SafeRides Connect service will only operate until midnight and will not operate for Sunday Evening and Late Night.
