CEO of Hertz subsidiary to retire, COO promoted

PARK RIDGE, N.J. (AP) — The chief operating officer of the fleet leasing and management company acquired by Hertz last year will take over as its CEO.

Gary Rappeport, the current CEO at Donlen, will retire at year's end, Hertz said Monday.

In addition to the title of CEO, Callahan also becomes a Hertz vice president.

Rappeport spent 27 years at Donlen, which was founded by his father in 1965, and served as its CEO for the past 15 years, Hertz said.

Hertz Corp. is based in Park Ridge, N.J.
