Centre County couple killed in rollover ATV crash, PA state police investigating

A Centre County couple was killed Monday in an all-terrain vehicle crash, the county coroner wrote in a statement Tuesday.

Timothy and Sharon Belcher, both 67, of Potter Township, died after overturning their ATV, county Coroner Scott Sayers wrote. They died at the scene.

State police at Rockview troopers were dispatched to Mountain Back Road in Potter Township at about 11:10 p.m. Monday, spokesman Jacob Rhymestine wrote in a text message to the Centre Daily Times. No other details were released; an investigation is ongoing.

No cause and manner of death has been established. Autopsies were scheduled, Sayers wrote.

There were three fatal ATV crashes between 2013 and 2022 in Centre County, Pennsylvania Department of Transportation data showed. Two were reported in Rush Township, while the other was reported in Walker Township.
