‘Central Intelligence’ Reaches $200M Worldwide As ‘Jason Bourne’ Moves In

Warner Bros.’ Central Intelligence, the buddy action comedy that stars Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart, crossed the $200M mark at the global box office today. This comes prior to the global launch today of Universal’s Jason Bourne which is getting ready to open at around $50M to $60M domestically and unleashes in 46 territories this weekend, including Australia, Brazil, South Korea and the UK and Ireland. Bourne is expected to take all the air out of the marketplace.

Central Intelligence, from New Line Cinema, Universal Pictures and Warner Bros., made its debut on June 17 and garnered $35.5M opening before making $124.1M; it currently has an international box office of $75.9M. There are some additional territories yet to open.

The film was directed by Rawson Marshall Thurber from from a screenplay by Ike
Barinholtz and David Stassen and Rawson Marshall Thurber. It was produced by Scott Stuber, Peter Principato, Paul Young and Michael Fottrellm with executive producers Toby Emmerich, Richard Brener, Samuel J. Brown, Michael Disco and Ed Helms.
