Centerton man arrested after alleged fatal stabbing of mother

CENTERTON, Ark. (KNWA/KFTA) — One man has been arrested following a fatal stabbing that took place on Friday morning in Centerton, according to Centerton police.

CPD was dispatched for a domestic disturbance call around 9 a.m. on Friday on Elm Street. Once on the scene, police found Vicki Williams, 51, stabbed with a knife in her kitchen.

Vicki was taken to a nearby hospital where she later died, according to CPD.

Kamron Edgar Williams, 20, Vicki’s son was arrested on capital murder, residential burglary and interference with emergency contact charges, CPD said.

CPD said a child called the police. The child told police their mother and brother got into a fight and screaming could be heard in the call.
