Celebrity Big Brother fans baffled as Ekin-Su’s mum says her dad is an alien
Celebrity Big Brother fans have been left baffled after housemate Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu's mother claimed that her father is an alien.
Following last night's (March 4) launch show, which saw the Love Island winner among the stars unveiled for the CBB house, Ekin-Su's mother Sezer appeared on Celebrity Big Brother: Late & Live.
As hosts AJ Odudu and Will Best spoke to a number of the housemates' family and friends, they turned to Sezer as Will touched on her reality star daughter's previous claims she has encountered aliens, asking: "Did she meet an alien?"

Sezer then responded: "This is a secret, please keep it as a secret. Her dad actually is [an] alien."
"Her dad's an alien? Oh my goodness," a somewhat confused Will added, the guest reiterating: "Please keep a secret."
"I won't tell anyone," Will assured her, as Sezer added: "[I don't know] why she is always talking about aliens – so please keep a secret."

AJ then styled the somewhat bizarre segment out as she declared: "It's because her dad is out of this world – I like it! But keep it secret. Everyone at home!"
Fans watching at home were left scratching their heads, one writing on X (formerly Twitter): "WTH is going on on #LateAndLive?! Ekin-Su's mum just said her dad is an alien but 'keep it a secret'."
"Ekin-Su's Mum just claimed that Ekin-Su's father is an alien? Everyone else confused..?" another added, while former Big Brother housemate Henry Southan proposed: "Ekin-Su's mum for next year's #CBBUK pls. I want to hear more about the alien father."

Fans also pointed out panellist Oti Mabuse's confused reaction to the claim, one viewer noting: "Oti's reaction is everyone's reaction to Ekin-Su's mum saying her dad is an alien."
Alongside Ekin-Su, other housemates unveiled for the latest edition of Celebrity Big Brother included The X Factor's Sharon Osbourne and Louis Walsh, Strictly Come Dancing's Nikita Kuzmin, Coronation Street's Colson Smith, and This Morning presenter Fern Britton, among others.
Celebrity Big Brother airs Sundays through Fridays at 9pm on ITV1 and the ITV Hub, followed by Late & Live on ITV2 immediately following each new episode.
