Celebration of Life service planned for Jilian Kelley

HUGOTON, Kan. (KSNW) — One of the two Hugoton women killed in Oklahoma will be remembered with a Celebration of Life service at the end of April.

Jilian Kelley, 39, was a wife and mother of four children. On March 30, she went with Veronica Butler to visit Butler’s children in Oklahoma. The women disappeared that day, and their bodies were found last Sunday, April 14. Four people are charged with kidnapping and murdering them.

Robson Funeral Home in Hugoton is handling Kelley’s arrangements and posted her obituary.

It describes her as a devoted Christian, pastor’s wife, and mother. She was the secretary at First Christian Church of Hugoton and guided several youth groups.

Visitors can sign the guestbook at the funeral home, 314 S. Van Buren St., from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday, April 28, and from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Monday, April 29.

A Celebration of Life service is set for 10 a.m. on Tuesday, April 30, at First Christian Church of Hugoton, 600 S. Van Buren St. Family and friends are encouraged to wear yellow.
