Blue Jackets forward Adam Fantilli suffers cut to left leg

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) — Blue Jackets rookie forward Adam Fantilli suffered a cut to his left leg from a skate blade during Sunday’s 4-2 loss against the Seattle Kraken, the team confirmed Monday.

According to a post on X from the team’s public relations department, Fantilli will not play in Tuesday’s game at St. Louis and will receive further evaluation after the Blue Jackets return to Columbus later this week.

The 19-year-old was on the ice for 7:30 before leaving the game in the second period after a hit on Jared McCann along the boards.

Fantilli has 12 goals and 27 points through 49 games this season.
