Cayuga ISD issues propositions to renovate buildings, fields totaling $12M

CAYUGA, Texas (KETK) — Cayuga ISD will have two propositions in May’s election ballot as they aim to expand and renovate the district.

Pittsburg ISD ask voters to approve bond measure for campus upgrades

According to the school district, residents can vote on proposition A and B, each costing $6 million, beginning April 22 that will help the district expand and reconstruct buildings, baseball and softball fields and parking areas.

PROPOSITION A

If Proposition A were to pass, Cayuga ISD would begin the construction and expansion of school buildings. The district said they would prioritize agriculture science career and technology facilities, additional campus parking areas and electrical system infrastructure upgrades.

PROPOSITION B

If Proposition B were to pass, Cayuga ISD would demolish the district’s baseball and softball complex to provide space for potential expansion. The school would expand parking and band practice areas and replace the baseball and softball complex with additional parking areas.

Residents within Harts Bluff ISD to vote on $19.1 million bond

Early voting begins on April 22 at Cayuga School on 17750 N State Hwy 287.

  • April 22 – 26 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

  • April 29 – 30 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

People can vote on May 4 at Cayuga School from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
