Cause of death revealed for Whitest Kids U’ Know co-creator Trevor Moore

The August death of Trevor Moore, co-founder of The Whitest Kids U’ Know comedy group, has officially been ruled an accident by a California medical examiner.

Moore, who was 41, died of blunt force head trauma on Aug. 7, the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner said in its report, which didn’t include any other causes.

The comedian was reportedly intoxicated when he suffered a fatal fall from a second-floor balcony, according to TMZ, which cited an autopsy report.

Moore’s family described his death as a “tragic and sudden loss” in an announcement confirming his death in August, but didn’t release any details about the circumstances that day.

“We don’t know how we’ll go on without him, but we’re thankful for the memories we do have that will stay with us forever,” Moore’s wife, Aimee Carlson, said in a statement to Deadline at the time. “We appreciate the outpouring of love and support we have received from everyone.”

The medical examiner’s report listed Moore’s place of death as a “yard.”

Moore was one five members in The Whitest Kids U’ Know sketch comedy troupe, which launched in New York City in 1999.

They starred on a sketch comedy series titled “The Whitest Kids U’ Know” on the Fuse and IFC networks for five seasons from 2007 to 2011.
