Caught red-handed: Russian women's desperate crawl to ballot stuff for Putin – funny video

Fact checkers uncovered the identities of two Russian women caught stuffing ballot boxes in Saint Petersburg with votes for Kremlin dictator Vladimir Putin.

The women crawled on their knees – Mission Impossible-style – in an attempt to elude detection.
The culprits turned out to be the head of the local election commission No. 5, Irina Minyakova, and her deputy, Irina Borovleva, according to the Telegram channel Agency. News.
Both women are employed at the local school No. 260, where the voting took place. Minyakova is a music teacher, while Borovleva educates kids on history.

A member of the election commission No. 5, speaking anonymously, confirmed to the Agency.News that the women in the video are indeed Minyakova and Borovleva.
He mentioned that the room with the ballot boxes wasn't locked at night.
A commission member was concerned on the morning of March 16 when he noticed that the ballots did not match their orderly arrangement from the night before, prompting him to file a formal complaint.
Voting ended in Russia's "presidential elections" on March 17. Putin purportedly received an astronomical and record-breaking 87.28% of the votes — a figure concocted by the Russian Central Election Commission.
Lithuania's Foreign Minister Gabrielius Landsbergis stated that the "elections" were conducted amid unprecedented restrictions on civil and political rights and "cannot be considered and called elections."
Germany's Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock said the "elections" in Russia were "elections without a choice."
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy asserted that there is no legitimacy in the imitation of presidential elections in Russia.
