Cat Rescued After Going for a Ride in Vehicle's Engine Compartment
A cat was rescued by Michigan authorities after taking a ride in the engine compartment of a car.
Troy Police said the cat slipped into the a garage and made his way under the hood of a Ford Mustang.
The car’s owner didn’t notice the animal was there until he went for a short drive. The cat was taking a nap inside the compartment.
The driver called a towing company that was able to get the cat out. He only suffered a few minor scrapes from the ordeal and is currently in a shelter.
Meet Rascal. He broke into a garage & took a nap in the engine compartment of a Mustang. He went for a little ride before he was discovered but is OK. Shout out to A&M Towing who lifted up the car so we could get Rascal out. If he is yours, please call Oakland Co Animal Control. pic.twitter.com/oizRatNR2X
