The number of casualties from Russia's April 15 missile attack on Ukraine's Dnipropetrovsk Oblast has climbed to 13 after another injured woman arrived at a hospital in Dnipro for treatment, Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration head, Serhiy Lysak, reported on Telegram.

"The total number of casualties in the Oblast is 13, including one child," Lysak said.

An explosion occurred in the city's Dniprovsky district overnight on April 15.

Information regarding the extent of damage is still being clarified, he said.

Russia continued to attack Nikopol throughout the evening and night, hitting the city center with drones.

The village of Chervonohryhorivka was also targeted by Russian drones, while the village of Myrivska suffered from Russian heavy artillery strikes.

A private house was damaged, but no one was injured in the shelling.

A Russian cruise missile was shot down over Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, local media reported explosions in Dnipro, Ukrainian Defense Forces reported on April 14.

Russian missile debris also fell on the communities of Dnipro and Lyubymivska in the oblast.

Lysak earlier reported 12 casualties, including a 15-year-old boy.
