The cast of 'Gossip Girl' is just as wealthy in real life as their Upper East Side characters

It’s hard to believe that it’s been an entire decade since the six-season scandalous phenomenon that was ‘Gossip Girl’ first aired.

Following the lives of Manhattan’s elite, the show depicted a fictional look at the inner circle and all the juicy, raunchy drama that goes down behind closed doors -- from limos to Park Ave penthouses.

The show’s two leading ladies, Blake Lively and Leighton Meester (who played best frenemies Serena van der Woodsen and Blair Waldorf), have gone on to star in smash blockbuster hits like ‘Country Strong’ and ‘The Town’.

Ed Westwick, who played resident bad boy Chuck Bass, stars in hit British TV series ‘White Gold,’ which makes its U.S. debut this year via Netflix.

Though the stars’ personal lives may not be as over-the-top and dramatic as the lives of their characters, one thing’s for certain — Their bank accounts certainly match up to the fictional characters they represented.
