Cass County residents compete in tractor operator skills test
Jun. 30—The Cass County 4-H Association hosted tractor and mower safety and operator skills tests on Wednesday at the Cass County Fairgrounds.
The program provides youths with educational information that develops project skills (principles of engine operation, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, safe operation) and life skills (decision making, using science and technology, developing communication skills).
These hands-on learning experiences are provided under the direction of adults. Junior division is for youths in grades 3-7 and senior division is for youths in grades 8-12.
The Cass County 4-H Fair begins Sunday, July 10, and runs through Saturday, July 16.
