CLEVELAND (WJW) — In honor of World Theater Day on Wednesday, Playhouse Square announced one final show for its featured performances of the 2024/2025 season: Lin-Manuel Miranda’s “Hamilton.”

The award-winning hip-hop musical that has taken the country by storm since its debut in 2015, selling out performance after performance, even when it went on its first nationwide tour, is once again coming to Cleveland next year.

Playhouse Square announces partnership with Karamu House

“Be in the room where it happens June 17 – July 6, 2025,” reads a social media post from Playhouse Square.

For the uninitiated, the show revolves around founding father Alexander Hamilton, his come up in the country as an immigrant, his marriage, his writing, his rivalry with Aaron Burr and his untimely death.

This is the third time the show has come to Cleveland since 2018.
