Carter BloodCare seeking donors amid spring break donation drop

TYLER, Texas (KETK) – Carter BloodCare said over spring break blood donations drop and they are in need of donors of all types to help stop that from happening.

According to the nonprofit, donations drop during spring break due to people are travelling and students are out of school.

“We need donors of all types, especially O negative and B negative. As a special thank you, March 4 through March 17, all donors will get a St. Patrick’s Day shirt,” Carter BloodCare said.

They also said they need to see 1,500 donors each day and will also be giving out a Carter BloodCare umbrella through April 30 while supplies last.
