Cheryl Ritchie crowned Ms. Senior Gulf Shores delegate, to compete in Ms. Senior Alabama this summer

GULF SHORES, Ala. (WKRG) — The Ms. Senior Alabama Organization, an organization committed to encouraging women over the age of 60 in Alabama, crowned the Ms. Senior Gulf Shores delegate on Friday.

According to a press release, Cheryl Ritchie was crowned as the 2024-2025 Ms. Senior Gulf Shores delegate. The ceremony that took place at the Rosa Parks Museum at Troy University on Friday is the first step to compete for the title of Ms. Senior Alabama.

Ritchie, who is a Broker Associate, according to her Facebook page, is an Alabama native. She is from Vestavia Hills and has relocated to Gulf Shores. Ritchie said she is “thrilled and honored” to represent the Gulf Shores community in the upcoming competition.

The statewide competition for Ms. Senior Alabama is set for June 1 at the Daphne Civic Center. Through the competition, the Ms. Senior Alabama Organization, “is dedicated to enriching the lives of senior women, providing them with opportunities to share their experiences, wisdom, and interests with others.”
