Carmelo Anthony Did Not Get Another Woman Pregnant Before Split from Wife La La: Report
Reports that Carmelo Anthony cheated on his wife La La and impregnated a stripper are “not true,” according to Page Six.
“The stripper pregnancy rumor is not true. Yes he’s not been perfect, but the baby with a stripper isn’t true,” a source close to Melo told the outlet.
The allegations that Anthony, 32, impregnated a dancer who works at a New York gentleman’s club were first reported by TMZ.
The outlet claims the woman is 6 and a half months pregnant with Anthony’s child and is expecting him to cover baby-related costs.
But a source close to La La told Page Six: “La La doesn’t want to deal with all of these rumors ... she doesn’t want to focus on any of it at the moment ... She’ll deal with it when it all comes down. The cheating rumors have always been out there and the majority will talk about the rumors over and over. She’s waiting on his team to respond and decide how to handle the rumors.”
On Monday, TMZ reported that the couple had split after nearly seven years of marriage and over a decade together.
Though the couple currently has no plans to file for a divorce, according to the outlet, they are living separately after a difficult few months involving Anthony’s in-question New York Knicks career. Sources told the outlet that the split is amicable.
A Page Six source confirms their plans to stay togther: “They’ve broken up in the past, they split three years ago, gave it some time and then got back together. They’re hoping the same works again.”
The couple have a 10-year-old son, Kiyan.
