The Cardinals released LB Stewart Bradley and CB William Gay, the team announced Friday.
According to Darren Urban of the Cardinals’ website, the cuts save the Cardinals approximately $5.25 million of cap space.
Bradley signed with Arizona in 2011 after three seasons with the Eagles, but he only started one game in Arizona in two years. He played in all 32 games for the Cards, totaling 42 tackles and one pass defensed.
In Gay’s first season with Arizona, he played in 16 games and 15 starts, recording 57 tackles, one sack, six passes defensed, two interceptions and three forced fumbles. From 2007-11, Gay played in every game for the Steelers. The 28-year-old corner has 49 career passes defensed.
